Bridge2Work: Talent Partnerships for Industry
How do we make sure skills programmes, including donor-supported tech training, train for what industry actually needs and lead to real placements for young women and men, including persons with disabilities?
Nigeria trains large numbers of young people through universities, TVET and a range of skills and job programmes, yet employers still report roles they cannot fill. The gap is rarely effort. Training is often designed without employers in the room, placement is left until the end, and young women and persons with disabilities face extra barriers at every step.
Bridge2Work puts employers in the room at the start: they define what they need, review live training against it, and commit to taking talent, with inclusion built into every part of the discussion.
